Logistics Coordinator - Agriculture Cape Town

An excellent opportunity for a hard working and motivated individual exists to join our client, a company which specialises in the production and export of fruit.

We require a person with experience and knowledge of logistics systems.

The position will be based in Malmesbury in season, and in Durbanville at the head

office during out of season.

Travel to Malmesbury and back will be covered by a fuel allowance.

The following will count in your favour:

• Experience of logistics in a fruit export environment

• Strong administrative skills

• Set on "detail" and accuracy

• Good communication skills

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Inventory management and control

• Weekly planning to summarize and communicate to stakeholders

• Make arrangements with regards to Special Markets

• Follow up on logistics and export documentation

• Generating reports

• Checking and approval of invoicing

Minimum requirements:

• 3 years’ experience in logistics environment

• System knowledge and experience of logistics systems export / documentation

• Computer literate (Excel advanced, MS Office)

• Provident Fund

• Fuel (travelling costs between the branches).
