Logistics and inventory controller

Our client is looking for a skilled and competent Inventory and Logistics Controller to join our Operations Team in the North of Cape Town. If you are a organized, dynamic and energetic individual then this position is for you. Job Requirements: Ideally passed Grade 12. Minimum 1 to 2 years' experience in the cleaning industry. Good written and verbal command of English. Inventory Warehouse Management Ensuring Inventory is easily and accessibly stored Ensuring access to the warehouse is controlled Ensuring the receipt and picking of inventory is controlled in line with documented processes Performing monthly stock takes and inventory reconciliations to AccPac system Logistics Coordinator Monitoring inventory levels and managing inventory re-order points Placing orders with suppliers Arranging and coordinating inventory imports, clearing of customers, and delivery to stores Assisting with client quotations Capturing of client orders and internal sales on AccPac system Ensuring fulfilment (Picking and delivery) of client orders in agreed time frames

Attributes:

Good communicator both verbally and written. Good understanding and knowledge of the cleaning industry and service orientated. Ability to delegate tasks and duties. Ability to solve problems efficiently and to be pro-active in identifying potential problems. The successful applicant will report to the Procurement and Accounts Manager / Operation Manager.
