Accountant - Cape Town North

This creative innovation group has quickly grown into a large group of companies, constantly expanding and developing new products in the technology sector. The need for a supportive financial department has become critical. This new position will report into the Financial Manager.

The Accountant will be responsible for the full financial function, including stock control and reconciliations for the business.

Key responsibilities:

• Fixed asset administration

• Stock Control

• Bank reconciliations

• Intercompany recharges

• Weekly and monthly reporting

• Monthly Intercompany invoicing

• Manage Petty Cash

• Assist with the arrangement of flight bookings where required

• Drafting required financial correspondence

Experience required:

• Matric

• NDip / BCom (Accounting/ Financial Management)

• Completed articles (small - medium size audit firm) OR 3 years acccounting experience in a similar position

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in creditor’s and debtor’s reconciliations and accounts

• Experience with stock / inventory management essential

• Ability to cope with pressure and deadlines in a fast moving environment

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
