Site Manager - Poultry Farm - Hartbeespoortdam

A Site Management position has become available with a leading hygiene and sanitation group in Johannesburg.

The Site Manager will be responsible for managing the contract cleaners at the poultry farm in Hartbeespoortdam.

Responsibilities will include:

• Internal Audits

• Daily hygiene and sanitation documentation checks.

• Supervision and training of staff, daily sanitation and deep clean.

• Implementing and maintaining of all food safety aspects ISO 22000.

• Management of staff.

• Employee time sheets and payslips.

• Documentation and data capturing.

• Ad-hoc Site Tasks allocated by Area Manager.

• Staff wage queries.

• Disciplinary hearings and procedures

• Inspections of workplace.

• Health and safety.

• Site first aider.

• Ordering of stock.

• Stock taking.

• Employee training.

• NCR's.

• Root cause analysis.

• Customer correspondence.

• Problem solving.

• Chemical dilution and handling.

• Completion of shift rosters.

• Flowcharts.

Skills and experience required:

• 2 Years experience in a managerial position

• Operations Management experience

• ISO 22 000 and HACCP experience is essential

• Managing contract workers

• Experience working with the FMCG sector

• Previous working experience in the hygiene, sanitation industry

• Willingness and being used to working night shift
